Recent reading trends indicate that middle grade fiction sales are decreasing (Circana, Ci2023) and fewer teens are reading for fun (National Assessment of Educational Progress, June 2023). With data supported by Circana, this panel of booksellers and sales reps will unpack what they believe can be done to combat this trend.
