This session will focus on embracing your role as a bookseller-activist. Moderated by Philomena Polefrone from American Booksellers for Free Expression (ABFE), a panel of booksellers will explore ways to use your social media presence to raise awareness about book bans, connect your customers to state legislative activism, and promote book access, all while still supporting your primary role as a bookseller. We’ll also discuss how ABA programs can support your activism efforts.
