The children’s department holds the key for large-sale opportunities in a bookstore, but it’s not without its unique challenges. Along with making a sale, ensuring a kid is presented with a book (or books) that fit their needs, not just their wants, is a top priority! In this fun and interactive role-playing session, booksellers will be coached by experienced children’s booksellers and presented with randomly-generated scenarios to practice their handselling skills.
