ABA is committed to making our event as accessible as possible. We provide accessible:

  • priority seating at the front and back of the rooms
  • quiet rooms
  • gender-neutral restrooms
  • ADA accessible restrooms
  • the name of local wheelchair and scooter companies with financial subsidies for rentals on a first come, first serve basis
  • ADA accessible rooms in our hotel block
  • a Rep Picks space and handouts for those with hearing, sensory, and/or processing needs

For nursing and pumping parents, there will be a dedicated room at the Convention Center with a small refrigerator and comfortable seating.

NEW FOR WI2024: In order to better accommodate attendees with hearing needs, ABA is offering a limited number of assistive listening devices for use during events taking place in the Grand Ballroom B. As this is the first event where we are offering this option, we would love feedback on their usage, availability, and helpfulness. Feel free to email accessibility@bookweb.org for more information.

If you would like to discuss ways this event could be more accessible and/or inclusive, or if you have an accessibility question or need, contact ABA’s DEIA Member Relations Manager Mariana Calderón.
