On Wednesday, February 10, 2027, Black, Indigenous, Asian American and Pacific Islander, Latina/o/x, Chicana/o/x, Hispanic, and BIPOC attendees are invited to kick off Winter Institute 2027 with our pre-conference event, IGNITE.
ABA is proud to present this 22nd annual industry event filled with educational programming for independent bookstores, keynotes, author receptions, and more!
Registration will open on Thursday, September 10, at 1:00 pm ET, and will cost $495.

The ABA hotel block will open on Tuesday, October 20, at 1:00 pm ET. A booking link will be emailed to registered attendees.

A Note on Registration
Winter Institute registration is only available for Member stores that are already open. Provisional Members who plan to open a store in the future may register to attend the Paz Workshop at Winter Institute. However, they must also register for the full event ($794), or a Thursday Day Pass ($409). Space is limited.

Registered attendees will receive a link to book at the Wi2027 hotel at ABA’s group rate. Reservations will open on Tuesday, October 20at 1:00 pm ET / 10:00 am PT.
Wi2027 offers five days of educational programming, keynote talks, author receptions, publisher parties, and dedicated time to network with booksellers, authors, and publishers from around the country.
