The Affinity Group Meetups are dedicated spaces reserved for booksellers, publishing staff, and authors who identify as members of the Black, BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, Disability, and/or Neurodiverse bookseller communities to gather for community, support, resources, and networking. These spaces are not open to press or media representatives. Affinity Group members are invited to use these spaces in addition to and alongside other social spaces during the conference, and ABA encourages other communities under the umbrella of our current groups to utilize the Affinity Group pop-up meeting space for additional meetups, including bookseller-only meetings. While allies are greatly appreciated, these spaces are available only for individuals who identify as members of these communities. However, if you are in the process of exploring your identity and relationship with a community, you are welcome — please do not self-reject!

• Open to all booksellers, this space provides an opportunity to chat with colleagues and take a break before heading back to the conference.

Quiet Room: Evergreen, Floor 4, Sheraton New Orleans

• The Quiet Room is intended to provide a quiet, calm space where attendees can spend time away from noise, bright light, and other stimuli of conference spaces. Put your feet up and relax. This space is not available for conversations or meetings.

Interfaith Prayer & Meditation Room: Edgewood A, Floor 4, Sheraton New Orleans

Lactation Room: Crescent Boardroom, Floor 4, Sheraton New Orleans

12-Step Meetings: Ellendale Boardroom, Floor 4, Sheraton New Orleans
